These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Swiss Inter, a software-as-a-service platform operated from Switzerland that lets vacation-rental owners manage bookings, payments, smart-lock access, and guest communications. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms.
Swiss Inter provides a hosted booking calendar, a public booking widget, an admin panel, integrations with payment gateways and smart-lock providers, and a per-reservation guest app. We host the software, maintain it, and support reasonable use. The relationship between you and your guests, including the rental contract itself, is between you and them — we are not a party to it.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you publish, your compliance with applicable Swiss tourism, tax, anti-money-laundering, and data-protection laws, and the security of your account credentials. You may not use Swiss Inter to send unsolicited bulk email, to host or distribute illegal content, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the platform.
Swiss Inter is offered as a paid monthly or annual subscription, with a free trial period announced at sign-up. Fees are charged to the payment method you provide and are non-refundable except as required by mandatory consumer-protection law. We may change the prices with at least thirty days’ notice; price changes apply at your next renewal.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period. We may suspend or terminate your account on reasonable notice for breach of these terms or for non-payment, or immediately for serious or repeated breach. On termination you may export your data for a period of thirty days.
Swiss Inter and its source code remain our property. You retain ownership of the content you publish through the platform — property descriptions, photos, prices, guest messages, and so on. By using the service, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and process that content as necessary to operate the platform.
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Where you process guest personal data through the platform, you act as a data controller; we act as your data processor for that personal data and process it only on your documented instructions.
Our liability is limited as described in the Limitation of Liability. Mandatory consumer-protection rights granted by Swiss law are unaffected.
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably are submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at the seat of the operator, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules that designate a different forum.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least thirty days before they take effect; your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
This Privacy Policy explains how Swiss Inter (the operator of swiss-inter.com, “we”) collects and processes personal data when you visit our website, sign up for the service, or use it as a tenant. It applies under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where relevant, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
For data we process for our own purposes (account management, billing, marketing), the controller is Swiss Inter. Contact: info@swiss-inter.com.
We share personal data only with the third parties needed to operate the platform: our hosting provider, our payment processor (Stripe), our email delivery service, and any integrations you explicitly enable (smart-lock vendors, Home Assistant). All processors are bound by data-protection agreements and are required to use the data only on our documented instructions.
Personal data is stored on servers located in Switzerland or the European Economic Area. Where transfers to other countries are necessary, we use the safeguards required by applicable law (standard contractual clauses or equivalent).
Account data is kept for as long as you have an active account, plus the periods our legal obligations require (typically ten years for billing records under Swiss commercial law). Waitlist signups are kept until you unsubscribe or for two years after the launch announcement, whichever is shorter.
You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, and export your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting prior processing. To exercise these rights, write to info@swiss-inter.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, for EU residents, your local supervisory authority.
We use a session cookie (named RBCAL_SESSION) to keep you logged in to your account. It is HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax, and expires after two hours of inactivity. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
When tenants use Swiss Inter to manage their own properties, the personal data of their guests (names, addresses, ID numbers, etc.) is processed by us as a data processor on behalf of the tenant. The tenant is the data controller for that data and is responsible for telling their guests what data is collected and why.
We will update this policy as the service or our practices evolve. The current version is dated at the bottom of the page; material changes will be notified by email.
